No landmarks match that filter.
Map data stores most buildings as a flat outline with a height, so a tower like the Eiffel Tower comes out as a solid block. When a model you make in TerraPrinter contains one of these landmarks, the block is replaced with the 3D model, turned to match the outline in the map data. It sits on the terrain and uses your building colour and height settings. The landmark has to fit wholly inside your selection. You can turn this off under Overlays → Landmark models.
Models are simplified to print cleanly. Very thin parts such as antennas may be too fine to print at small sizes. Missing a landmark? Suggest one.
Yes. Every landmark can be downloaded as an STL or 3MF for free, with no account, and printed as often as you like.
STL, which every slicer opens, and 3MF, which also keeps the model's colour and units. Pick the height from 30 to 250 mm and add an optional base plate with the name in raised letters.
Most stand flat on their base and print upright without supports. Landmarks with overhanging parts, like the Atomium or the Gateway Arch, say so on their page; use tree supports for those.
Yes. Each landmark links into TerraPrinter with the area around it selected. When you generate the model, the landmark replaces the plain block from the map data and stands on the real terrain with the streets, water and buildings around it.
