About the Fairmont Château Laurier
Opened in 1912 by the Grand Trunk Railway, the Château Laurier stands beside the Rideau Canal at the foot of Parliament Hill. Its steep copper roofs, turrets and dormers set the château style used for Canada's grand railway hotels.
What the model includes
The hotel's wings with their steep roofs, rows of dormers and corner turrets, and the taller block on the canal corner.
It is built from simple closed solids, so it slices cleanly and stands flat. In the download window you can set the height from 30 to 250 mm and add a base plate with the name in raised letters. The mesh has about 3,192 triangles, small enough to open in any slicer.
