Flat model

Ignores elevation and prints a flat base plate carrying just the map features (buildings, roads, water…). Great for a clean city map.

Close-up detail

For small areas (up to about 1.5 km across): ground coloured by gardens, fields and woods, coloured roofs, windows and chimneys, trees, hedges, fences and walls, and kerbs along roads. Applies on the next Generate.

Paved areas

In close-up models, car parks, town squares, pedestrian areas and markets print as a thin flat surface in their own colour, with roads on top. Applies on the next Generate.

Airports

Runways and taxiways print as raised strips and aprons as flat pads, in their own colour. Applies on the next Generate.

Dams, race circuits and more

Dams print as concrete walls, race circuits as roads and docks as water. Close-up models also get rail platforms, stadium bleachers and fountains. Applies on the next Generate.

Terrain

Fine-tune how each map layer prints. Heights are multiplied on top of the terrain's height exaggeration; widths only apply to roads, trails and rail, and scale their real width (each keeps a printable minimum).

Sea level

See what a place would look like if the sea rose, or print the coast of the last ice age. Only land the sea can reach floods, and it prints as its own colour part.

What if the sea rose?
Today
Today's coastline.

Normally only land the sea can reach floods, so dry basins like Death Valley stay dry. The map tint floods every low spot and is only a guide. Dikes, sea walls, sediment and land rising or sinking aren't modelled.
